About ark.la

"Building this first home with Arl.la for the 2016 International Building Show demonstrates that our system can produce precision-built modular multi-story structures, sustain long-distance transportation, set up, finish detailing, and be ready to show on tight timelines. We look forward to working with them further on the rest of this exciting development."

"At Whirlpool Corporation, we value innovation and technology that improves the lives of homeowners, which is why the ark.la modular show home was the perfect arena to display our Jenn-Air brand. We found the meticulous craftsmanship of the home mirrored the sophisticated design and exceptional performance of the Jenn-Air® appliances chosen for the space. When prospective homeowners stepped inside the kitchen, they saw sleek, innovative appliances that fit perfectly with the home's cutting-edge technology. This was evident when visitors first saw the Obsidian interior of the Jenn-Air built-in French door refrigerator. With its fully integrated and flush design, the refrigerator easily blended with countertops and other kitchen elements. Once visitors opened the refrigerator door to reveal the charcoal interior and the stark contrast of the brightly colored food inside, it became an element that reflected the rest of the home's thoughtful design."

"Lamps Plus was thrilled to be part of the Professional Builder Show Village this year during Design Construction Week in Las Vegas. The modern home, designed and built by ark.la, featured Lamps Plus lighting products integrated throughout, from chandeliers to bath lighting. The product was well received given its placement in key areas such as the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. The lighting had a contemporary design that was an ideal fit for the modern architectural design of the interior spaces. For Lamps Plus, the show home stood out because it was contemporary and modern, providing us a unique way to present our designs, which usually are showcased in a very traditional setting. Additionally, we were able to feature our Lamps Plus Professionals program, which is a trade program specifically designed for builders, contractors, and interior designers."

"Participating in IBS' Show Village was an opportunity to put our unique products, company and message in front of a new audience. The featured Geberit product—an in-wall toilet tank and mounting frame for wall-hung toilets—is quite new to most people. In addition to saving space, the system is more hygienic than a conventional toilet. The unit was placed perfectly, with the open wall exposed at the top of the second floor landing where everyone passed by. It was a great experience both listening to people wonder "what is that strange-looking contraption." The best part was hearing more and more people recognize the concept compared to our first participation in the Show Village. Awareness definitely increased, and all thanks to ark.la for the opportunity. And finally, with respect to the show home, nothing beats an upstairs rooftop patio and wet bar!"
